Hrach Kalsahakian is member of the Arab Writers' Union (Damascus) since May 2003.

From 2001 - 2003, Kalsahakian was candidate for membership to the Union.

During that period he authored the following book in Arabic:

"Introduction to learning Armenian Language" (for Arabic speakers), 336 pages, Cilicia Publishing House, Aleppo, Syria, 2003.

Kalsahakian writes in Arabic, Armenian, English and Greek.
